At the age of 80 plus, I have just discovered the joy of woodworking. I started with some cheap tools, but now realise that if I want to improve my skills, I must invest in better products.
I have recently purchased a Luban jackplane, which is SO much better than my cheapo planes.
It's solid, well-made and razor-sharp. A real joy to use and is a welcome addition to my newfound Rutland tool collection.

I’ve ordered a number of things from Rutlands, sometimes on offer sometimes not, but always without issue. I ordered 3 till stands that were factory seconds and for one I received duplicate parts/the wrong parts. Grateful to customer services for rectifying the issue quickly and (eventually) efficiently.
